When my Focus RS arrived the first thing I noticed was the wheel gap and the fact that the (standard - not forged) wheels in black didn't fill the wheel arches properly. Lowering springs and spacers went on that as well and to my eyes made it look much better:-

P.S. this is not me putting my car forward smile
I'm not sure why putting your own car forward is frowned upon? Im interested in all modified cars, and want to see more.

My Alfa 105 Junior. Still playing with it, recaro seats coming out tomorrow and period bucket style seats going in. Gearbox leaks have been fixed and a new 2litre engine going in shortly after some issues with valve/piston damage cause unknown.
Not sure why this was ignored and so much chat over a MX5 instead....

But love these Juniors. More info? Got a Readers Rides thread going for it?
It is lovely, as are all 105s. Are the tyres on the wrong way though?

Hi it's correct at present that's an older picture after the wheel refurb so its possible at that time they may have been swapped. (Yokohama directional A520s). Good eyes if so!

Diary noted for next year biggrin
Was a very eclectic mix of cars but a very chilled day and seeing some of them run up the hill was great.

My only suggestions to you as organisers is a bit more variety in the hill climb allocation, ie more cars and less runs? I expected a lot more to go up the hill but the paddock seemed to just be repeat runs of the same cars till we left around 3pm. I appreciate it might not be practical tho.
It was great to see such a variety of modified classics as well as stock. Don't change the event too much and the pricing and food costs are perfect. (ie don't let it turn into a mini rip off Goodwood revival lol)
:-)
There were 550 runs up the hill on Sunday, a new record for us, and each car only got 4/5 runs each, which we think is a fair amount for their entry fee.

There is a separate session for morning and afternoon, a select few may have signed their cars on for both sessions but it was very much in the minority. We were also let down by a fair few number of guest cars, which further reduced the variation in vehicles.

Fewer runs would mean having to charge less, and having to administer more cars in the paddock, which is a feat at the best of times.

I don’t think it is frowned upon really. Just a personal opinion.
It’s like saying that you’re good looking, or that you’re an entrepreneur. It’s something that other people should say about you rather than you say about yourself.

Dave Kindig's '34 Dodge sedan...

Kindig is by far my favorite amongst the US custom car builders... quality and attention to detail is outstanding.

I agree, the work they do at Kindig-it is amazing. Its my favourite of the car shows on TV. The attention to detail is second to none.

Indeed, and he does it without being a monumental egotist dick like Rawlings. Looking at that car it’s like the Anthill mob cartoon on steroids laugh

It's all period correct, no stupid bits on it. Yes, large wheels but still in the same design as the originals.
