And a local favourite of mine, now on a black Mercedes CLS shooting-brake:

Driving through Colchester the other day and I was behind a Citroen with a decent plate on it, not suitable for the car though.

This plate was originally issued to the Vauxhall/Opel dealer [now closed] who were near B'ham City's St Andrew's ground.

Not entirely sure it belongs here, but I saw

RAC 15M today (correctly spaced), ironically on a white van.

Was this an original issue or a DVLA sale? If the latter, I'm not convinced it was a brilliant idea.
For me it belongs here. 1972 issue I think. Takes a bit of bottle to drive round with I'd say.
Bloody hell, surprised that's not been withdrawn. Was an original issue in 1974.
Just to dig this up again, saw this van again today and whilst the front is correctly spaced, the back isn't - it clearly spells the word.

Just one digit away from being a sh*t plate. Seen north of Glasgow. Really looked good in that colour, even on a drab day
Shame they couldn't fit it into a parking space which looks easily big enough.
