She used to park a little... now she parks a lot.

The other car isn't helping the cause here obviously, I'd just park elsewhere but then I'm not an entitled twonk.

Nope, as it is. The car park was half empty as well.

Aye, I should have taken one from the front but to be honest I forgot as I was in a queue that snaked around the car park.

There was also a similar van blocking the pavement opposite - didn't get a pic as there was a bloke working in the garden next to it whistle

Yellow zig-zag lines outside schools, hospitals, or fire, police or ambulance stations indicate the length of road where stopping or waiting is strictly prohibited. The Highway Code states that you should keep these areas clear of stationary vehicles, even if picking up or setting down children.2 Mar 2020

Surely common sense would say that the increase in danger in marching 50+ kids to wherever a coach could legally park would outweigh the danger of parking there??

I've seen loads that are perfectly parked as well as ones that aren't.

What perplexed me was that although the Nissan Kumquat was badly parked there were stacks of empty spaces elsewhere and yet Mr RR decided to dump his truck there, as if to make a point. Some people are just odd.

Tricky one - it’s not a busy road in terms of thoroughfare so walking out into the road to get past isn’t the end of the world and I’m sure the parking situation is frustrating for the residents... but vehicles abandoned on pavements make the place look properly scruffy.

Not "tricky" if you're in a wheelchair or pushing a pram.

The fact you woudn't get a fire tender past if they parked on the road, surprised one side doesn't have DYL's

Have other people done it further up the street, too? It looks like.

It's not tricky at all. You park in your front garden, or on the road without obstructing it. If you can't do either, you park somewhere else.
