2 Citroens, been there for years, don't think they've been moved at all. One of them was full of boxes and random stuff:

A DS and an SM.. That is criminal
Don't these belong to a guy with a moustache and cigar who drives them like a loony? I seem to remember someone posting a few years ago about seeing him regularly.

This Rover 75 has been decaying outside this cottage in Whalley for a few years.

Abandoned Rover by

You can see in the 2009 Streetview image it looks tidy enough but seems to have gradually decayed in the same spot over the years.

Probably another case of someone elderly and unable to drive but keeping their car just in case they get back on the road again, even though the car is beyond use now.

This Peugeot hasn't moved from outside this house in Blackburn for as long as I can remember.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.7391884,-2.49824...

The house came up for sale a few months ago but there were no inside images. I don't know if maybe the owner of everything died years ago and nothing has been touched while all sorts of legal business went on to see who had a right to it.
Found some zoopla pictures of inner house with the Pug

Been there for at least 15 years. Complete with 'spare engine' behind it. The owner has now even put a note in the rear window advising that the vehicle is not a climbing frame.

EDIT: I am mistaken, for it does have MOT history until 2014

Another one not a million miles.

Taxed and MOT'd but I've never seen it move and it always is full of crap.

Date of first registration: 06 July 1999 suggests it's imported - it's M reg.
It's a Pajero Turbo Intercooler 2800.

This had been here since at least 2003. I haven't been past for quite a while now so don't know if it's still there.
D'oh, Just noticed that this has been posted already.

Took me a moment to figure out how it'd been taxed so long after the MOT expired... Of course, it was a SORN (or two) that expired. Ah, memories...

Definitely an import. UK-spec had lights in the rear bumper.
Clever clogs! wink

Another Supra, this one in Solihull near my mate's house, around the corner from mine. It's been there for a very long time. My mate said the owner left it there after something broke, he stripped it, sold some bits and then left it to rot. Such a shame!

Wow, that is in poor condition

Shame about that RX-7.

I just remembered a Porsche that had been sitting on the drive near to my girlfriends for a decade, was originally on axel stands and looks like it was being worked on then steadily accumulated lots of moss and was used for storing junk, last year it was moved off the drive into the garden but I've just checked it now and it's vanished frown
I think the owners moved out, I wonder what happened to the car.

Probably scrapped/ sold sadly

The little mirror on the nearside front wing and the Pajero name indicate a Japanese import as well. The Shogun name was used in Europe because Pajero means wker in Spanish and Portuguese.
Brilliant!!

I'd say the white E30 BMW has been there as long.
Its a shame.
Just now i typed in the reg of my old golf in wrong..
Came up with another car
So i typed in and changed the variable.
Out of all the cars (T130 LKE - T139 LKE)
I used ten cars in my "survey"
Only 1 ( a black Golf 1.6 manual) was on the road today.
All the others met their death around 2009 like mine
They are fading away...

I'm not sure too many people will miss that generation of Golf. Then again, I never thought I'd miss the mk1 Rover 800 but I'd love one now they're gone.
It was quite a boring car.. but it did the job and I have liked VW/Audi ever since. It was my first VAG car, well after the VR6 MK3 I had.. It looked rather nice on the IV GTI wheels I had. Still have the original steelies....(should of swapped them over to the insurance comapny so I could keep the GTI wheels but oh well)
