Those polite tops seem a bit of a pisstake imho and could antagonise drivers (unfortunately).

That said, there are a lot of horse riders on the road round here and i like slowing down to see them, just because it's a nice thing to see an animal like that. Why the hell anyone would deliberately try to scare one is beyond me.

i was working in project management on major roads job and mine lived on the parcel shelf because it meant i always knew it was in the car. we had to wear high viz and safe everything(glasses, boots etc) just to step out of car onto works. if i didnt keep it there i would end up doing loops of works to go back and get it. i wasnt trying to be plod or anything just know how forgetful i am.

sorry to anyone i caused to slow down in area thinking a extremely unwashed mondeo with a high viz jacketbeing driven by a hobo looking 23 yr old was police.

Mine is in my glove box, but then it isn't a proper T5, it's just a 2.0T, can I count as number two who doesn't??
No. Trafpol haven't used the 2.0T as far as I know.

And you should've manned up and got the T5 wink
The insurance is bad enough on the 2.0T thanks!

I didn't get it to play cops and robbers, I got it because I like the back end and the massive comfort levels it offers for the money!

Oh and they are indestructible smile

I didn't get mine to play cops and robbers either, just wanted a bit of poke, but as you say the insurance is hardly wallet friendly, especially given that I'm 19!

I'm with you on the comfort side though. The seats are lovely although the ride is a nice compromise between comfort and control, but I believe it may be a little stiffer on the T5.

Glad you think they're indestructible - at least I hope mine is!

M25 J6.
Pink Ford Ka with "Louis Vuitton" in gold letters down the side.
Big fat bloke driving in a hi viz jacket sporting a Ming the Merciless moustache.

Not a shred of irony on his face.

I always had my high vis jacket in the cabin when I was doing a job which meant getting out of my car at the side of the road to go into electricity substations - it was best to have it to hand than to have to rummage in the boot for it.

It wasn't on the parcel shelf though, and said "ELECTRICITY" on the back, not "POLITE" or whatever hehe

just to make thing clear, the wearing of hi vis whilst driving is not the problem. It is the muppets that then drive at 10mph below the speed limit and have a line of traffic behind them on some sort of ego trip!!!
