Sorry to go against the flow but I don't find that a pretty car! I would say that that 'bling-y' design is tailored for those overseas markets of dubious taste! For that sort of money I would not want to have to manually remove the panels and put then in the boot! It has to be powered.
It' the MP4 12C for me. Far more subtle, tasteful and made in England!
I agree. I would feel like Borat in a mankini driving the Lamborghini. It' the MP4 12C for me. Far more subtle, tasteful and made in England!
I'd take the McLaren every time and a new generation Range Rover with some of the change.
Words cannot express how much I want one of these!! In black, red leather and anthracite (sp) wheels
I dont think id be able to actually drive it though. I can see that every time I would fire it up for a nice drive through the Pyrenees, id have the mother of all eargasms and have to go back indoors to rectify the inevitable mess in ones undercrackers.
Yes, this is probably the most stereotypical "small willy, flash, rich, arrogant" blah blah blah super car out there............. and i just dont give a st.

Good luck loading it up with rubbish to take to the dump.I can picture your missus with her arms crossed & giving you the look only women can give while saying "You said it was the only car we'd ever need - I knew we should have got a Scenic".

Couldn't have put it better myself, although yellow or green for me, just to keep inconspicuous I dont think id be able to actually drive it though. I think it was Frank at McLaren who said they (McLaren) wanted the P1 to be a curvaceous car. And that curvy cars are much harder to make look great. I think he said "it's easy to style an extrovert car with straight lines".
Wonder what car he had in mind!
(sorry to be so vague, I couldn't find the source interview. Anybody recall it?)
Don't really get that, there are barely any straight lines on the Lambo. That's the whole point. The surfaces are all "curvy", just masquerading as something more flat because of the creases, vents and panel splits. Instead of the conventional, do we make a "curvy" car or a "edgy" one, Lambo said sod it, we'll do both.Wonder what car he had in mind!
