First off, welcome!

As instructed, "hi".
I note "Scrof Pistonhead" is an anagram of "Discrepant Hoofs" and "A Fords Phonetics".
Are you a rebel at heart with a secret plan to shake it up and reform PH as a model of your own virtues, character and desires?
Secondly, Mobsta! No secondary profiles!I note "Scrof Pistonhead" is an anagram of "Discrepant Hoofs" and "A Fords Phonetics".

more than basic command of English would do for me.
Undermanned: past participle, past tense of underman.
I'd not noticed that, so when I read your post I was hoping it actually said "undermaned" in reference to this gentleman's face foliage and it was just a missed pun. I was disappointed Undermanned: past participle, past tense of underman.

So where's this windmill then? Looks worryingly familiar.
Mr Scrof is from Kent, so I assume Chillenden windmill? http://www.flickr.com/photos/taffytank/6092583590/

Morning all
Thank you all most kindly for the warm welcome! It's a pleasure to be here and, as you might expect, I'm chuffed as nuts and hugely excited to be working for PistonHeads now.
To answer a few of the comments so far:
Yes, I have an E39 and a beard, both of which I enjoy greatly. Sadly I do not own the windmill in the pictures, although I wouldn't count it out as something I'd like to own in the future.
Yes, I have a rather odd-shaped head; I'm aware of the fact and am more than happy to talk to people about what it's like to be in possession of said. Or to be roundly abused for it, should the mood take you.
Yes, I have a closet penchant for old Citroens that go up and down a bit. I also like anything bargey, especially old Jags, although I can often be found enthusing about almost anything with four wheels (or even three, if they've got a Morgan badge).
Yes, I have some history with old performance Fords; sadly I didn't own many, as the good ones are all rather pricey, but I can lay claim to having owned an old Capri 2.8i for five years, a plethora of slightly ropey Mondeos, and my current effort, a Puma track car, which I co-own. Other cars on my honour roll include an X300 XJR an old Saab, a couple of Rovers, some Citroens (of course) and a Ford Granada which was hand-painted to look like Thunderbird 2. As you do.
And yes, I will get the teas and coffees in shortly.
Anyway, it's good to meet you all, and I look forward to filling your screens with random musings about old cars in the coming months and (assuming I don't get too many things wrong) years, as well as meeting some of you at the PH events I'll doubtless be attending!
