Allways liked the Dymag wheels on the 6R4, especially with the gravel shields (can anyone who actually seems to be able get a picture uploaded tell me how)

Fuchs 9/11 on a Carrera RSR here.

I'm amazed the number of posters here that think 1800kg saloons are racing cars.

Citroen SM Resin race wheels have to win just on sheet madness value.
Steel too heavy for rallying? Lets make a plastic wheel!

coolest racing wheels are the lightest. silly question.
Silly answer.

What use is light if they're not durable?
What use is light if they've got the aerodynamics of a brick?

I would agree 'lightness' is a very important criteria for the 'best' racing wheels, but coolest has it's own set of criteria.

(When I was 8, I didn't judge the coolness of a racing cars' wheels on the basis of weight, or lack thereof smile )

The ones on my 993 were nicely dished:

..and I quite like these, a modern take on the old turbo twists. OK, I know its 'stanced' but lets not dwell on that. The wheels would certainly get noticed!:

I agree... Those revolutions look v.cool, but not half as cool as the bonnet cut out... I recognise that car from the Silverstone Sunday Service

I put 7x13 Revolution RFX's on my first Mini, prob 20 odd years ago as 175/50/13's had only just come out.. looked great but weighed a ton though and made it handle like a dog on anything other than smooth tarmac rolleyes

ETA lovely Mini btw thumbup

- Too true. When did a M5 become a racing car?

The Stratos one is spot on, though... Lovely!

Also have a soft spot for these:

...Which I only after searching for a suitable image realised were the same as on the Stratos hehe
