RE: Charles Morgan: game over
Discussion
I am sure many still remember the BBC televised Sir John Harvey-Jones Morgan visit; Morgan happily chose to ignore him, and flourished.
My guess is that this is a storm in a tea cup, and that Morgan will continue to do well; their cars are wonderfully eccentric, and made in small enough numbers to maintain a healthy waiting list; in a world full of manufacturers of 'me too' cars searching for tiny USP's; Morgan are a total USP; long may it remain so.

The dismissal reasons sound "trumped up" to me. Hardly capital offences.
They are just the legal justifications to get rid of someone whose face no longer fits. An old boss of mine was sacked over a couple of pounds discrepancy on a lunch expense claim. It obviously wasn't the real reason. Ayahuasca said:

Ayahuasca, " It obviously wasn't the real reason" FFS! - Re-read what you have just written/said........ You didn't really say that did you?
I think we might have slightly different morals.
Well, six years later and Morgan still seems to be independent and in good shape.
I’m with Mr Honda on this.
No one can guarantee that it won’t be taken over or turned into a ‘brand’, but Morgan is not like other car companies, it has a unique heritage based product which offers something no other company does. There will always be people, like me for example, who want that experience and maybe every generation produces new customers.
I wouldn’t like to see the traditional Morgan disappear or modernise, nor do I see any need for Morgan to enter a tech war with McLaren, but no doubt that they can develop their own product in their own way, to good effect. In the meantime, the Plus 4 Plus was a beautiful car in its own right, and it is interesting to see cars like the Aero, we will no doubt see the Widebody concept at Geneva, but whatever happens keep the traditional Morgan, including of course the 3W.
What is Charles Morgan up to now anyway, now that the heat and dust have settled?
