i fail to see how egr delete or bypass would improve fuel efficiency, it is more likely to do quite the opposite
egr is to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency
people normally do a egr delete on a diesel to prevent carbon build up, long term that would likely lead to better mpg if no attempt to decoke the intake was ever attempted.
