Electric steering? a Sport button?

Like everything else about it though.
Congratulations in your success at getting the first comment in AND fitting almost all PH stereotypes into one sentence. Assuming you haven't actually driven a car from the last couple of years with EPAS? I'd challenge you to actually notice the difference in a blind test....
Do the M2, M4, R8, 991GT3, mini GP, FRS and TT count?

How much was the bet?

I'd like to see how it looks with a set of spiders (the best TVR wheel design IMO)! smile
Definitely! Was just thinking that.

- back end looks like it's ripped straight from Toyota FT-1 concept. This is not a bad thing.
- front end has strong whiffs of SLS about it. Again, not a bad thing.
- I'd like to see where the front plate is going.
- I'd also like to see it painted it one of the mad old chromaflair paints.
- restrained interior and looks will almost certainly help with sales.
- look at the state of the wheels. Worst thing about the car by a mile.

Solid 8/10 based on information. Can't wait to see the first road reviews.

Someone's clearly a fan of the FT-1 concept;

Have to say it is somewhat underwhelming, but as has been pointed out, I think a lot of that rest on those awful wheels...

Love everything, except the bits my eyes see. A clean sheet design with no historical baggage and that's it?

Bit of an anti-climax in all honesty.

FT-1 I'd have in a heartbeat.
This? Not so much.

Have to say those pics make it look more like a TVR than these official (I assume - unless they were taken by someone at PH's offspring during school holidays?) pictures. With so much time available to get the launch day just right they seem to have messed up quite badly.

Like the interior - at least that's recognisably TVR.
I hope the performance and handling can make up for the fact that it's not the looker we were hoping...

Dare I say a little disappointing in appearance?
But the rest sounds very promising indeed!
I was thinking the same but I'll reserve judgement until better pictures are released.
Pretty disappointed TBH. Looks a bit generic, with none of the 90's-00's TVR flair or eccentricity. Interior looks painfully slab sided.

Looks suspiciously like a Ford keyless logo on the steering column. Ford engine, so possibly a Ford EPAS system?

Might be one of those rare cars that is improved with a front number plate.
A 6ft x 6ft one should sort it.

not really blown away by the looks tbh. It looks like too many other cars (supra, LFA, etc), there is nothing about it that says lightweight raw british sports car. Not keen on the electric instrument cluster screen.

I must say having now looked at the pics for a while I think it looks good and carries TVR DNA..

Different colours and wheels will change it alot.. Carbon black with a carbon and smooth black interior.... yum yum

Looks lovely as someone who isn't particular wedded to TVR as a brand it has some clear progression looks wise whilst retaining features. It's got enough "detail" to be modern but retained enough old school curves and flows to be classic and not look outdated in a few years. Very good job design wise I'd say it's a great mix of different without being wrong.

Had high hopes for this after seeing the concept photos.

The wheels are dreadful, what were they thinking! Should have stuck with the ones from the concept. A good set of wheels would transform the look.

First thing I thought when I saw it was "GT86".

It's not lairy enough to be a TVR (from the front, anyway).
