No offence ... but it's just black.

Tanzanite blue. Love it. Looks almost black in low light, comes alive in the sun. Bit like that Skyline in Midnight Purple.

I'm a big fan of Tanzanite blue too, also like Le Mans blue.

Obsidian black, Imola red or techno violet
Obsidian black pearl is great colour in the flesh. This is mine in that colour.

It doesn't look it on most pictures, but it does look good in the right light. I imagine it's a pain to keep clean, we had a Monaco Blue BMW X3 3.0SD a while back which showed up swirl marks big time. Still a stunning colour

I really like multi layered paint schemes as they offer easy achievable depth when properly detailed,
The new CX5 has an updated version of this paint.
Forking out £300 upwards for a proper detail is not what I'd call easily achievable, when you can just pick a colour that looks good to start.
Like Brown.

No shouts for Brown yet?

And as a footnote for balance.....

There were over 90 different colours available to owners of the Rover 75 and MG ZT, as documented by this thread:

Two of my favourites are Shot Silk and Moonshine (what stunning names too):

Big fan of Jaguar's Racing Red.

Also like the similar colour that Renault and Mazda do
