As far as I'm concerned, it needs the aero covers for the rear wheels as well. I know it's a subjective thing but odd wheels is a look that never works for me.
This is how I'd prefer it.

Got a bit carried away in Photoshop, though...

Might as well go all in.

Reminded me of this one, the Mitsubishi HSR II concept of... 1989. As said before, shows that there are a limited number of designs and aero rules, if you want to hit 250mph.
On the design, first reaction wasn't positive, at all. But it kinda grows, and I can appreciate it looks like it does, because it has a goal to achieve. Wouldn't be number one on my lottery list though ;-)

i can see what they are trying to achieve, it just the glass house which doesn't work for me, somehow its too cab forward and too tall to gel with the swooping rear...
thing is, i personally can forgive the Senna as it doesn't really matter what it looks like, its a balls out track day hyper car.
but presumably the speedtail should be the most beautiful car in the world? or was that not its brief?
No, it wasn't its design brief. Its design brief was to be aerodynamic. You saying it's too "cab forward" shows your lack of aerodynamic understanding, as having a long "teardrop" shape behind is more aerodynamic, so if the cab was further back, this couldn't be achieved. So you can forgive the Senna for its looks because it's fitting its design brief, yet can't with this for fitting its design brief?thing is, i personally can forgive the Senna as it doesn't really matter what it looks like, its a balls out track day hyper car.

The first of the modern era, the MP4-12C was a reasonably pleasing and balanced shape but then someone in Woking thought it would be a good idea to base all their design language on their (not particularly unique, and rapidly dating) swoopy logo
+1. The MP4-12C design didn't exactly send your heart racing, but boy does it look classy now that we know what came afterwardsStreetrod said:
Please remember that this is a development mule and not a finished customer car. You always see issues like this on such cars
Oh come on. Other manufacturers, even tiny ones, hand fettle the pre-prod cars they use for photography to make the panels and trim fit even if they are not off tools. This really is just inexcusable attention to detail in a car used for the launch press pictures. And even if you can't make it fit in real life, you could photoshop this in 20 minutes. How big is the fuel tank? A true high-speed GT needs a huge tank so you don't need to stop to refuel every 10 minutes when 'making progress'. A theoretical range of 500 miles at 200 mph cruising speed should be enough, and would allow for a rest stop every couple of hours.
Also, does it have sufficient luggage space for its three occupants, like the F1 did?

I consider the pink one an improvement - matching wheels (this isn’t Richard Hammond’s pickup from the TG America Special) which have a bit of 959, XJ220 & M5 turbines about them. It has a bit of Panther Six about it & the extra wheels help the visual proportions. FAB1 had a central driving position too. And now it’s an interesting colour. This is how I'd prefer it.
