Can I have a mirror at 45 degrees instead, showing whatever car I have parked in that bit of the underground car park? Or, perhaps better still, a laminated glass floor in the entrance hall, with my car of choice parked underneath? Maybe on a hydraulically raised platform. That should make the house worth a load more to footballers and 20-something middle-east minor royalty.

Cars were made to be driven, and the visually least attractive aspect has to be the top view. No matter how well fixed they were, I'd always be afraid of a big THUMP CRUNCH noise in the middle of the night as the wall collapsed.

On topic, has any one else seen this Murci in the Lamborghini museum, Maranello?

We wondered how it made financial sense to them, then clocked it has no engine. Probably an engine failure example.

F1 car-7up Jordan I think
Excellent choice! After saying I would pick Schumacher's 1994 Benneton B194 I actually though or would I pick the 191 Jordan.

Who'd a thunk 7Up would make a better coke bottle than coka-cola?

If it had to be a car then this, without a doubt. It’s stunning.

But if I could have just one motoring/motorsport thing then it would be Jorge Lorenzos 2013 Silverstone GP winning Yamaha M1. (very specific I know)

I was there in the grandstand at luffield for that race. I’ve always been a yamaha fan and it was the yamaha sponsored stand. My parents gave me the ticket as a gift. My first MotoGP experience.

It was the first time I’ve been totally stunned by someone’s ability on a bike (or car for that matter). I could have put a 5p piece on the apex at luffield and he would have hit it every single lap. Incredible. To me anyway. biggrin

He won the race passing Marquez on the last corner pretty much right in front of us. The grandstand erupted, I’m not exaggerating, it was that loud I could barely hear the bikes!

I would love that exact bike in my living room.

That's an Aventador LP700-4 Roadster in the factory museum in Sant'Agata.

So many of these utterly beautiful cars would look utterly ste hung on a wall so all the curves and shapes disappear into a plan view...

Like the idea of sectioning a shell down the centreline, and mounting that however.
Noone said it had to be plan.

Ah OK, wrong location and model remembered. Was visited on a trip to Bologna.

Exactly.

Ever been to the transport museum Glasgow? They hang from wall on a plinth.

There was an orange Murciélago LP640 there previously.

Anyone remember a Grand Designs episode when he went in and the owner had installed a Ducati 998 on the wall? Kevin nearly had a fit.

But if you're asking, a Bugatti Type 35.
Wasn't it a 916?

Immediately after reading the OP, I thought "Zonda F Clubsport with that black carbon fibre / titanium weave body". But then it would be wasted hanging on a wall, despite all the very fetching details and design.

So I'd go for something dramatic in terms of design, that was not necessarily all that good to drive; all show but no go. I'd go for the Lancia Stratos Zero concept:-

Well if I could only choose one it would have to be this! (But I'm not sure any exist).
