What about these? Are they a 'classic' wheel? They're certainly unique:

Quite hard to make something subtle yet managed incorporate a logo.

You just instantly know what car this came off. A really unique design that was far different for the regular spoked wheels or flat faced alloys of the time.

Not the most classic of classic wheels but my dad had these on his 88 Scirocco so they sprang to mind. When I was a Max Power consuming yoof I would have killed for a set of OZ Super Ts so glad to see they've had a mention.

2. OZ Milano wheel. A HUGELY expensive 'upgrade' on other Alfas but standard on the Sz/RZ, just stunning.
The SZ/RZ split rims were by Speedline, they’re not Zender Milano. smile

You could have strapped me down and beat me with a wet bible and I’d have still insisted those alloys came off a Mk1 MR2. On further investigation the VW has a centre cap ( with Volkswagen on although it was blurred in the pic) but they are remarkably similar in design.

The classic AMG monoblock has to go down as an iconic wheel...

It must be just me, but I’ve never liked these wheels. They’re ok on a classic Mini but look out of place on anything else IMO.
I used to think the same, then I had set ona sunbeam and they kinda grew on me. One of my favorites now.

Got a choice of 13" or 15" Minilites.....look better with 15" but drives much nicer with 13"

Two of my all time favourite alloy designs.

Renault Clio 16V Turbines. Had a few sets back in the day when messing with Clios.

Some great designs on here, but some absolute stinkers too.

How about an early design?

I think they were also on the 8 Series, and looked very good.

The 107s look cool imho, but only on a E85.
