Bentley Bentayga Speed Feroza Edition, not a factory edition, you have 900hp to make a quick escape from people laughing.

That is a particularly toxic colour, and makes the black plaggy stick on tat all the more obvious. Thread winner!

Nothing to get too upset about there, IMO.
Looks like it was designed very closely around a hippopotamus - I’m sure there will
Be an Audi option to add a whole Load of chrome external trim to make it look really tacky.

The Rolls Royce is big, expensive and thirsty, but it's undoubtedly well formed, elegant and refined, especially when compared to these yobbish monstrosities.

its hardly the most tasteless though and I believe the option is for less chrome not more.

I’m not sure that Maybach GLS thing can be topped. It’s supremely tasteless. I can’t think of anything worse right now. biggrin

It would seem that most tasteless candidates are on the expensive side.

In the real world, the honda civic type R (current) is quite hard to look at.....Unless you are 12.

Jeez, that is indeed awful - looks like a Chinese 'interpretation' of a Mercedes
I saw one in Dallas recently - and in the flesh they actually…. look like a Chinese knock off laugh
If you got rid of the roof rails and paint it all black you’ll be able to put a taxi sign on the roof.

I know it’s bonkers, but I quite like the iX. It’s not covered in flashy chrome or anything.

As for most tasteless….

It’s a difficult one, but probably a prestige brand SUV

Rolls Royce Cunnilan, Bentley Bentaga or Aston Martin DBX

They’re all pretty OTT

I’d argue the opposite and say the defender is the best - internally and externally - looking 4x4 on sale today.

The Cullinan gets my vote for most tasteless, closely followed by the Urus.
In this spec, not too bad at all

But there can be this look.. Although it's not standard.

I actually drove one- it was not all that more lux than a regular car and had the silly champagne cooler in the back seat.
- when you opened the trunk the cooler stuck right out and bisected the trunk space. I was not interested in buying one, but tried the plutocrat seat in the back. The front passenger seat did not move forward enough so I could not stretch out like a first class airline seat. Fit and finish were standard Mercedes. Interesting to experience the thing but zero interest in owning one.

It is, but in the words of Dick Emery "you are awful...but I like you". Something about it that makes me want one. Though not for £200k.

Dreadful aren’t they! But I’d just add any of their SUVs to the tasteless list; all horrible looking things.

I wouldn’t want to be seen in a Lamborghini, even though I do like them!
I’d agree about modern Mercedes interiors…..awful.

Never going to beat some of the offenders already pictured, but there are some perfectly nice cars that are over-designed to the detriment of taste. My biggest gripe is cars that can't work out what colour they are.

A good looking car, but is it blue...or black...or even red?

Fiat 124 Spider was a lovely looking and quite classy thing, but with its scrap yard bonnet and bloodied chin, its Abarth sibling is a garish and fairly tasteless mess. And is it white...or black...or red?

Both fundamentally good cars spoiled by testeless clashing paint schemes and - perhaps controversially - unnecessarily farty exhausts.

Mercedes are king of interior chintz.
I saw one of those out the wild the other day and discovered that the awful grill, isn’t even actually a grill, purely there for ‘styling’.

I wouldn't describe either as being tasteless though, just over-styled maybe
