How refreshing, a SOTW article written without any purile schoolboy humour nor any pathetic comments about "back doors or passages".
Oh, please stop clutching your pearls. I'm here mainly for the puerile schoolboy humour and judging from the usual 'pathetic comments', I'm not alone.
Yes let's have a little smut on a early Friday morning
I agree! I missed having it this week

We had a 2.0 TDI estate way back when. Absolutely massive inside and a half-decent steer. Ours has same seats as this but they were not comfortable after half an hour
Interestingly, I often read comments on PH about car seats being uncomfortable.

As somebody of average height and reasonable condition, I have not come across any modern car seats that could be described as uncomfortable.

Perhaps ‘less comfortable’?

I had one of these and was really underwhelmed by it. The tall gearing really seemed to hamper it. It didn't feel brisk even. It was refined and well-equipped, but I didn't like the interior much. Seat backs seemed oddly low and it felt very old, even though it wasn't. I also thought the handling was a bit disappointing. It was competent enough, but it felt like it had lost some of the sparkle of the previous generation models. I've had MK1, 2 and 3 Mondeos before, and this was the worst of the lot I thought. ST220 was the high point.

I've had a couple of Merc CLA 180's as loan cars, and I didn't find the seats in that all that comfortable in comparison to other cars I've had.
