Jeep grand cherokee, Lexus Rx 400, Volvo xc90 in my ownership experience. Unfortunately no cars I have owned can really seem to cope, although the insignia in comfort setting is better than the merc c-class, audi A6 and BMW 3 series coupe I have owned in the past. So you are wasting your time with the German manufacturers compact execs unless you buy S class/7 series/A8 type cars with air suspensions. Something makes me think Volvos wouldn't be to bad on this especially as a dealer once told me the C30 was only rated behind lexus on ride comfort in driver surveys.
