Will it be sold in a limited edition colour? or will it be available in other colours? Can't help thinking it would look much better in another colour, but those pictures are from the testing, right?
There is an autocar video on youtube with the One-77 in light metallic grey which looks nice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwaGBUccq2c

You can have it in any colour you want.

That's the point.

It's an expensive chavmobile. Look at it. Masive overblown arches with silly wheels, gaping air intakes and vents. Save 1.17m and buy a Focus RS.

Let's face it, there have been no real Aston Martins since 19th July 2007 when Aston Martin ended more than 50 years of production at Newport Pagnell.

I'm surprised that people on PH (PISTONHEADS) care about the price, and then start comparing it to 5 x Lambos instead. You guys are on the wrong website. MSN cars is that way--->>
The fact this car even exists is what it's all about. A 7.3L v12, pushing 700bhp!?!?!(I think?) We should be praising Aston for going all bonkers and building this. In the current climate, with all the talk of companies downsizing from V12s/V10s to V8s, and V8s to V6s, this may well be the last Big powered V12 ever...

it does look jaw dropping PLEASE make james bond have one...
Not really an Aston fan but I gotta say they do make some very good looking cars and you're right, its got 007 written all over it.
I love German metal but never thought it right that Bond should drive a Beemer no matter how hi tech it was meant to be.

I think it was this photo of the One-77's rear suspension that did it for me:

It is properly stunning. The only "10" i've rated so far. Underneath that aggressive exterior, the chassis is a thing of beauty in itself. EVO magazine did an article on it a good few months back that showed it all in detail. It really highlighted why this car demanded the "premium" price tag. Awesome. yes

Any truth in the rumour it was based on the Range Rover Sport?

Thats a joke right?

The lagonda SUV was based on the RRS.

The one-77 looks very good in its testing livery. It would be a hard call between one of these and a Zonda Cinque.

. Wooow that is freaking amazing...

I recon they could sell the 77 cars in the UK alone!!

sure it’s a bit more "in your face" but as it has been said already its there "come and 'av a go if you think your 'ard enough" project!

I think I would defiantly go for a darker coloured car over the blue/grey and silver/gold cars on the AM web site…..better state that on my order sheet !!!!!!!! wink

Quote - In a series of test runs completed last week, Aston says the One-77 exceeded original expectations and recorded a 220.007mph (354.86kmh) top speed in dry but windy conditions. Dynamic testing is now scheduled to continue into the New Year.

Mr Bond would approved over that recorded speed - but 220.007 looks a little too convenient for me
