Stunning and imo quite a bit more interesting and charismatic than a similarly priced Ferrari. That red example posted above looks lovely.

Is this colour scheme an attempt at making a normally lovely looking machine appear like it belongs to Noddy ?
Well im sure Stephen Ireland will be thrilled that there was at least one person in the world who looked at his Bentleys colour scheme and thought 'wow, that looks great, I should do that'

That Bentley is really, really nasty.
Wonder if the bird in it is the same? smile

It does seem to me that most German cars regardless of make or model always look better in silver or dark metallic shades of grey imo

One of those is definately near the top of my wish list, albeit in British Racing Green and tan leather. What a shame it is not really British!!!!

I do wonder how many of those with negative comments have seen a Wiesmann in the flesh?

Personally I don't like the colour scheme or the roadster for that matter.

There's a medium metallic blue coupe locally that really looks the part and suits this car far more than any loud colour.

RAI Carshow 2007:

Of course W'manns are not in any TVR price range: the effort that go into these cars is so much more! Where TVRs - even the T350s, Tamoras, Tuscans - are DIY cars (check any TVR boot to find the stuff to service and repair) this Dzjerman stunner is a proper car with the R&D development and BMW hitech to go along with it.

Underneath:

The old factory really was a workshop kinda place. The new building is pure art, just like the cars.

Dink, that iron tube frame (when ready will get a zinc bath or how you call that wich is also better then what TVR did) is only for the MF3 roadster!
the pictured MF4 GT and MF5 (all MF4 and MF5 models) have the aluminium monocoque chassis!
so its more advanced and the quality is way over TVR ever had...though I also love TVR biggrin but just to make that a point too.
They build fantastic cars with a fantastic sound and all custom made.

Could someone tell me what 'The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster's a bh and I spanked it' is in German? NickmHall is obviously Troy's Teutonic cousin(Herr Queefman?) using the pseudonym of an amusing British Policeman.

Is it just me but once you are in the realms of paying well north of £100K wouldn't you expect a different material from GRP?

Nowt wrong with it as a material at all but for that sort of money it seems to stick in my craw.

I agree with the earlier reply that it does look much better in certain colours and without the spoiler.

you can also see it like this, if a say M6 cabrio cost almost 100K then the Wiesmann is a bargain...
its very price locked? second hand...its very rare/exclusive...and the GRP is a special mix I believe, its done different then say TVR.

Its a hole different car, yes its pricy, but all handmade special cars are, but not many that price locked second hand then a Wiesmann...

example because I'm looking a long time at those second hand cars in Germany...
in 2006 when the MF4 GT came out it cost about 90<>98.000,-euro...today 2010 they still ask almost that same amount(for a good combo sure the 2006 new price) for that 2006 car (not funny that way i never can buy one)

so there you have it...

lets say Buy a 150.000,-euro Bentley or BMW and sell that after 4 years, you must be happy/lucky with half that new price biggrin

At £100k or so for a V8 coupe, it would be a tough choice between the MF4:

and the Shelby Daytona Coupe:

This is a very dark blue along with a Morgan in a very dark green would be in that section of my extremely large fantasy garage alongside a very deep red TVR Griff.

These cars do look great - but only with a more sober colour scheme.

there are so many possibilities with Wiesmann, each car is individual, example this MF3 roadster with the 343ps S54, (the top of the MF3 is the 360ps CSL engine BTW)
many colors, many wheels, many leather options etc etc.

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDetails.html...

it has also flip paint? ala TVR biggrin

that car has this color interior

[img]http://i.ebayimg.com/22/!!rccwLwCG0~$(KGrHqMH-C0Es-ZkrfpLBL(dGtjeKQ~~_27.JPG

or this MF3 with this type wheels

or this simple black MF4 GT interior

out this car

or this MF4-S with the M3 V8 420ps and DKG in simple black

many examples to look at with many pictures at the classifieds on mobile here

Never really thought I would like an orange car but thats two I have seen now that I think look good and look almost the same shade, this Wiesmann pictured above and the new M3 GTS. Alas I can afford neither frown
