Looks like this is the thread for me.
I need to find a 200mpg 800bhp roadster with 4 seats and a boot big enough for a pram (for twins), convertible of course, but with a solid roof that folds away into nothing, so that the boot is still spacious. AWD is preferred.
Budget is £100 to £14million if that helps.
I need Group 1 insurance, or at least my limit is £50 per year for Fully Comp and zero excess.
Are you fussed as to what colour or do you want an invisible one with a cloaking device? Also what fuel? Diesel, petrol, nuclear fusion/fission, Hydro-electric or clockwork?I need to find a 200mpg 800bhp roadster with 4 seats and a boot big enough for a pram (for twins), convertible of course, but with a solid roof that folds away into nothing, so that the boot is still spacious. im now wondering if theres any difference in reliability or anything between the 2
Both suffer the same DPF problems. CR is smoother/ quieter, PD noisy and rough.thinfourth2 said:
Am i right in saying to save money you bought an expensive unreliable car that uses way too much fuel and costs a fortune to insure.
At least its a diesel
its 47mpg quoted which is a lot more than its petrol counterpart with less performanceAt least its a diesel
its unreliable? it seems more reliable than unreliable i cant find many horror stories on google
its cheaper to insure for me than a quickish petrol that returns less mpg
also i got it for 800 pound less than book price

170bhp isent a lot for most people but i enjoyed the test drive so didnt think much about the noise etc
I think you need at least 200bhp to be honest, I've no idea how people manage to throw off the handbrake shoes with less, and for motorways I think 250bhp is a sensible compromise.Maybe you could trade it for an older petrol that has some power?
