I've never seen a headlining so impressive.
And I love the steering wheels on that generation S Class.
In mini-me news, she was born at 06:08 - 08/04.
7 lbs, 14 oz, and they're both doing fine.
I'm absolutely chuffed and this is quite easily the best day of my life
More congratulations in order! And I love the steering wheels on that generation S Class.

What a wonderful gift - and only a little bit more expensive to run than an ex minicab bi-turbo S600!

As we are posting hatchbacks..
Ok this Delta doesn’t quite live up to it’s predecessors, but I’ve always quite liked them, shame they weren’t badged as a Lancia here. £2500

I was looking at that lastnight. It's on eBay for £2750. There's a knock on the front bumper by the towing eye cover on the OS. The lower trim below that also seemed out of line.Ok this Delta doesn’t quite live up to it’s predecessors, but I’ve always quite liked them, shame they weren’t badged as a Lancia here. £2500

The baby news is smile inducing.

Glad to see you still have the priorities in the right order, though.
Edit: on the subject of children and S-Classes, I found another. My number one at work. He seems to be adopting the look of his father on the Morpeth bypass, I mean, the private test track:

This is most definitely a barge:

Congrats to LTA and Mrs LTA. My daughters had to endure first rides in VW Passats, diesels at that, and now both endure VW Golfs which live up to VAG’s reputation of unnecessarily complicated and shoddily built unreliable tat. If only they listened to my pleadings that a MB 190E would be cool!
Thanks again everyone - appreciate it all.
I let her suggest the name; it was a perfect choice.
I had a veto but why use it if you don't want to!
Not once has she said "We are never doing this again". I've had the easiest ride in to fatherhood possible so all the work for me is going to begin today.
I'm obviously up now, dogs to feed then walk, then breakfast and then start the list of things she has been texting me through the night before going to visit at 10:00.
Fingers crossed they'll be home today.
Hopefully the E39 T will be getting collected Monday.
Unsure whether to advertise the Accord yet or just run 3 cars for a while again.

In stead of 3 cars, you need one of these I let her suggest the name; it was a perfect choice.

This is well worth considering too, no goodies in the back on this one either but that caramac designo interior is lovely. It also has much better wheels that won't see you on the back of a flatbed before 2021 is out. If you decide you do want some 20" wheels to shatter they are ten a penny on eBay, or you can buy a set from me and I won't lie to you about how full of welds they already are!
If nothing else the presence of a car with similar/better spec from a dealer with only 10k more miles on the clock for £250 less than the private sale silver one puts you in a strong position to negotiate - I'd say that silver car needs to be £10.5k really; dealer backup might mean nothing or it might mean you don't have to pay £3000 for a pair of coil packs in 2 months, or £1k for an ABC strut.
