RE: Toyota GT 86: £24,995

Had a test drive this morning. The interior was the 'all black' look. Very smart and sporty. With leather and sat nav the only options. The seats and driving position were excellent. There are two pretty bucket seats in the rear although very little leg room.
The noise of the flat four was awesome, with ducts from the engine bay directed to the driver for added effect. It's very controllable and feels like a proper sports car. Driving at 70 mph it felt like I was doing more like 90. The best part is between 6000 and 7000 rpm, it comes alive.
The only downfall is the mpg. Being a modern car with not a huge amount of power I would've expected better than 26mpg during everyday driving.
Wow though, wonderful budget sports car.

Did you try driving it between 1000rpm and 3000rpm? Because that's where the fuel economy is.The only downfall is the mpg. Being a modern car with not a huge amount of power I would've expected better than 26mpg during everyday driving.
