Launceston Hospital this afternoon. This fairly small car park has lost 5 spaces due to the mobile breast scanning vehicle and this 'tard was into the last available space left.

Company car park. Owner of BMW thinks his/her car is special and requires 2 spaces. The space to the right is not marked as parking space but quite big car can park there (usually Q7) and it's always used because there's issue with spaces by the office. It was dumped like this for 2 days then it was parked ok yesterday and today again taking two spaces. I guess it's time for the notice on the windscreen. I could contact security but don't want to be identified in case driver goes mad. Maybe driver reads PH and after seeing it will start parking properly, like everyone else.

Looks like a wide space as well, almost get a tank in there, why is the Beema driver a tard.

Which would sadly lead to a sh*t load of aggro!

Not trying to defend that style of parking but I know an area close to where I live people park their cars in other peoples driveways & head off to work. Several times the owners of the houses have come back only to find somebody has used their driveway so they tend to block them in hoping it would stop.
That's tttery of the highest order...
It happens more than you think, and is the reason I put 2 fixed bollards and 1 x telescopic on my drive.

Looks cringe-worthy to me, I know a guy with a big lwb landy, genuinely does go on a two-three week exped most years to Morocco but has all the st strapped to the car 52 weeks of the year. To me its no different to the guys who stick a proper race tow hook to their street car.

Yeah I see, fair enough, if they are out all weekend living their one life then I can see how stripping it of stuff could be a chore...

Naar, I'd block them in with my car and say it's £500 to move mine.

You could say that, but the police would make you move it! It's illegal to block someone's access to the highway - it's NOT illegal to block your entry to your drive - the law is a tt sometimes! rolleyes

I personally would buy a wheel clamp & clamp them & tell them it's £100 to be released. Are they likely to call the police, doubt it.

yes I know but are they really likely to put us much of a fuss? After all, they have parked on "your" driveway & buggered off. Most people would be embarrassed & wouldn't want to cause a scene, hence they would probably pay up & never park there again.

I don't think confronting these people would get you very far either because the fact that they have knowingly parked on someones drive & gone away would indicate that they couldn't care less & they probably think that nobody will say or do anything.... Playing them at their own game would be so much more fun. Either that or hook up my 4x4 & tow them else where & let them find it. biggrin

You gotta love Italy:

Matera parking. Quite a lot of Multipla in South of Italy.

"Look Gino, there's a space to put the car!"

Yeah, well... if only this was the only time I saw a car parked on the zebra. They just don't care and I love it.

It's not marked as a parking space for a reason. Both drivers are in the wrong.
Yes, blue one is in the wrong place but I understand why it's there. Normally Q7 is parked on the right to the space where BMW is.

Are you claiming that nobody that legitimately has a blue badge could possibly drive, or be driven around in a Corvette?

I used to drive a blue badge user to the shops in my Boxster & got lots of dirty looks from blinkered people.
No, not at all. Couldn't see a badge on the dash, that's all. If he'd had one, i'd be giving it a big clap

If my OH could legitimately get a disabled badge due to his type 1 Diabetes, he'd put it in his sprint-prepared MGB. But he can't, so he won't.

Corvette even has temerity to mis-space the number plate. Double whammy!
