Before anyone cops the camel , this is not my crash but it happened almost outside my house so...
Audi has clattered the van , shoved that into the Skoda , which moved into her husband's van in front too , only minor rear door
damage to that .
There is usually a Mini parked behind the first van , they must be out in that or that would have been obliterated .
no idea what time it happened , I slept through the carnage and saw it all when I went out at 10am .
Looks like they either mistook the parked van for a moving one, or passed out at the wheel.Audi has clattered the van , shoved that into the Skoda , which moved into her husband's van in front too , only minor rear door

When I was living at my Mum's a few years ago that happened. Busy road at school finish time so cars and kids everywhere. They managed to cross over to the right side of the road and knock 3 cars in a row, pushing the rear one onto a roundabout. Amazingly they never hit any moving car or person. Just as it happened two kids on mopeds came round the corner who seconds earlier would have been in his way too.
I was at home too, looked out the window and saw there was a free space outside and considered moving my car into it as it was in a space that slowed traffic down. Lucky I didn't as it would have been hit too.

OOPS! - nice first car and no great shock that it ended in a lift off prang. I too cut my teeth on various hot hatches and learned the hard way.
Halcyon days, there were three of us with mkI XR2s, a mkI RS2000 and numerous other fast Fords...it was only insured third party (£560!) so I sold the wreck and my car's engine, running gear and interior were re-shelled into a friends 1300 Super Sport...he also had a mkII Cortina with a Damlier Dart engine\box in it.You never forget the first one

Drunk driver hadn't notice the parked cars and drove straight into the back of my Corrado - which was pushed up the hill and shunted my wife's Polo into next door's Citroen. The front headlight of the Corrado had been in line with the street light. There was a full car space between mine and my wife's car - the neighbours had gone to the pub.
He was arrested just down the road on a petrol station forecourt - wobbling about trying to put the front of his van back together. Two and a half times over the limit, he was banned for two years and fined. Wasn't insured, mate's van......
After we'd moved a couple of years later I spotted the car parked on the A30 near our new house. I thought very coincidental, but wondered if the new owner knew it had been written off due to the shell being twisted. It doesn't look much from the photos, but there was a large kink across the roof and the drivers door frame was badly distorted. I spotted the driver later too as it turned out he was a waiter in Pizza Express..... So if anyone knows the current owner of H393 CNH let me know - I've still got the service book somewhere.....

As we're on our more retro crashes..I give you (the remains) of my S2000.
Can't recall if I've shared these before, but I was very gutted to have destroyed this. I was also very lucky to walk out of it with a cut ear that needed just a bit of surgical superglue to fix.
This was a mixture of black ice and complacency on my part during the morning commute. Probably the first proper frost of the winter, and a stretch of road that's quite shaded, so it never really gets defrosted quickly.
I recall the first big impact and seeing the windscreen shatter, then there were another couple big impacts at it rolled down (hill) a field, and somehow landed on it's wheels. No airbags, and the engine was still running. I opened the door, stepped out and recall hearing the engine, so lent back in and switched it off. My laptop case was half way up the field and my glasses were gone. It was like a comedy patting myself down to see if I was intact.
I did find blood but couldn't initialy figure where it was coming from.
Major WTF moment, trying to figure out what to do next.
The police appeared and were really decent. They even pointed out the ice crystals on the carriageway and said that would be noted in their report.
Three hours later, I'd been through A&E and was home looking for my next stead. Went for a Mk5 R32 just to be on the safe side.
I still miss that car.
