What an absolute glad he fked his car the dhead ashleyman said:
I really dislike this guy. He's my neighbour and his driving is just poor all the time. He has his own assigned parking space that he refuses to park in, often choosing to take up a visitor bay and leave his space empty. He's always speeding in and out of the car park and the visibility isn't that great looking out onto the road or into the car park. You're out of luck if you meet him when you're exiting and he's entering, he will bully his way in, either by driving up into you to make you reverse as he did with my wife or waving his hands around like a crazy person like he did with me when I refused to move considering I'd driven all the way from the car park to the road so I refused and sat there until he moved out the way.
Anyway, he pulled out of the car park today without looking just as I was getting into my car and this happened. The Focus driver was NOT happy at all and it was much closer than it looked! Shame the mic was off. https://youtu.be/8o9MJ6Hv8IM

Micra drivers an idiot, clearly. But police seem to be going a little fast too, he pulled left pretty hard so I'm assuming he was out of range of the car he had just passed? MarkRSi said:

I'd go with that. This cyclist needs more than a lifesaver check - emerging head on into traffic from behind a parked van, and hands off handlebars.
Only sheer luck that we missed.

Some of these 'pedestrians on bicycles' beggar belief!

Does it really matter how fast it seems like the police car was going? I don't think it does. That wasn't my point though, my point was commenting on how far left the police car swerved and how I hoped he was out of range of the car he had just passed otherwise he could have caused a second incident by swerving.

The Daily Mail has an interesting take on that. They clearly didn't bother to watch the video before 'writing' the article.

Either way, the Micra driver was an utter tool - he began his overtake on some cross hatching/chevrons and without the Police car the only way he could have completed the move would have been to go the wrong side of the traffic island.
