It's not shopped - you can see the shadow of the photographer and there are several other photos of the scene. In addition, why would Scotrail put a "badly" shopped photo on its Twitter feed?

Made BBC, although I agree, it looks a little shopped due to the lack of shadow from the car. The track reflection on the car is a good sign it's real
