That VW video is good viewing. I like these apart from as they say, the looks are quite dull. It now has evolved in to a Skoda Superb.

You can report AutoTrader adverts for this - "misleading selling price / admin fee not included" is the first option on the report form so I think they are trying to do something about it. Or want to appear that they are at least.

Great bit of Phaeton interior footage. Haven’t come across these guys before but they’re rewardingly bearable for YT

That’s a good video, the subject matter Is probably helped by the high standards of production and the scenery - Utah looks fabulous.

Do these garages expect people to pay them, or is it just a way of letting the customer get his 'discount' ?

'I'm sorry sir we are firm on the price but I'll waive the admin fee' type of thing.

Plenty in this month's Modern Classic magazine for the discerning bargist.

Strongly suspect one of you is Quentin Wilson...

Count Quentin’s alright by me. He’s been ramping XJS values to almost zero effect for a decade - “next year’s big movers”, “get yours now, before it’s too late” (palsyish wink, fall in, drive off)

He's definitely one of us. In a barge heavy article (one of two!) He features in all of the 'I bought one' sections.

Top man.

Quentin seems to get a hard time elsewhere on this site but I've always liked him. One of those very few journos that it would be good to have a pint with.

Quentin is everything that used to be wrong with car salesman. Didn't he get done for clocking cars?

Friend of mine knows him and says it is very unlikely that you would want to go for a pint with him

This, and the subsequent postings, proves just what I know. Next you'll be telling me that James May pulls the wings off flies and that Holly Willoughby bullies her granny ... illusions shattered; dreams in a million pieces ...
