Yeah; really clever that innit bruv...
Shut it you prick. No need for an enforcer thanks; big enough to look after myself
Just cracks me up that someone thinks going back to the seller 'to do him in' is clever and the right way to deal with things...
Probably watched too much Equalizer as a child (or is that showing my age)?

Agreed. I never heard Edward Woodward use either term! White Range Rover, driven through a greenhouse, was that Callan, The Enforcer or am I showing my even greater ago by not remembering the details!

Slightly above thread budget but maybe could be haggled down close.
Another lovely E34 with a small (but sonorous) 6 pot. this time with added usefulness and lovely wheels. I don't think I have ever seen those wheels before. Are they Alloys or hubcaps?

6 grand. That's beyond crack-pipe. We have entered the twilight zone of complete madness. Another lovely E34 with a small (but sonorous) 6 pot. this time with added usefulness and lovely wheels. I don't think I have ever seen those wheels before. Are they Alloys or hubcaps?

Absolute proof that the addition of a white background adds value to your car....Apparently.

It didn't sell at £6K but it might sell at £7K!
Good grief.

If it were a 525i, then maybe c£5-£6k, but not in a lifetime being a 520i, £3-£4k IMO, on a good day!

I smoked around for a year there in it and then gave it away for free!

One of the lads on the 5 series forums was selling his blue E34 520i a good few years back & I was seriously considering it. It was c£1.5k, looked really well, well looked after and no corrosion at all...
It'd have been an easy driver, never a speed machine, but would get you everywhere in comfort and style

Where is Macron “the Enforcer” when you need him?!
No one listens to my gripes at thread boundaries being exceeded, I couldn't organise a thread T-shirt, and even my dog told me to fk off this morning.Edited by Stegel on Tuesday 13th April 15:24
I'm afraid you'll probably need someone with more clout!

Have we had this CLS?

Dirty diesel, but that interior makes it worth considering, no?
Out of interest, recent good news (previously detailed in the thread) means that I’ll be schlepping from Lancs to just outside Brizzle to commute to a new job before we relocate later this year.
I had considered a 630i/SL350 as the ideal car for the job, but is there anything else I’m missing?
Priority is threadish budget, coupe/cab preferred - otherwise an estate of some sort, easy application of Bluetooth music, heated seats and known problems that are easy to fix, so no coolant pipes for instance on BMW v8’s.
Usual thread priorities of ruinously expensive when new, waftability, space for two people’s luggage for a road trip around La Belle France and a gentlemanly number of cylinders (<6).
Its petrol and I guess within haggle of budget, looks a decent spec and facelift.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202104081...

However they do have balance shaft issues, though someone of ample beardage will advise better.
