Seems kind of ill thought out when actual Renault 5 Turbo 2 can be had for under £100k.

This is missing the point though. They’re trying to do a “singer”. The problem is the base car is far, far too niche.

It’s not for me (the alfaholics GTAR is my equivalent)

A treat from my local car show today. It was also a manual.

They were all manual, weren't they? Saloon and Estate.
It was the E60 which was SMG-only (in Europe at least, the US got a manual option).
There was never a production E39 M5 estate, so this one will be M5 running gear grafted into another E39.
Thank you, I had forgotten that the E39 m5 was saloon only.

That's nice, I like the mix of Mk2 and MK3 bits at the front. Any more pics or details?

Go to YouTube and see the build process. Unbelievable bits of kit. Full aluminium chassis

Is it just me or is the body raised about 12 inches at the back - presumably to clear the bigger engine?

Crumbs that looks amazing. When they're using 2 grand's worth of ECU you know it's a decent project that's had a few quid spent on it.

Mentions in ad that it's set high as been on and off trailers. Fully adjustable.

Wrong thread in my opinion. The gap between the cut and shut VX220 clam and the door alone is terrible. Lots of money spent to be sure, but I’d take a standard or Honda powered car over this any day.

Has been on and off the market for at least 3 years with various owners struggling to make it work I think.
