The SEATs all seem to be the 180hp Cupra varient, Insurance wise that competes with stuff like a 330i bmw. I'm looking for the 150hp base 1.8t with a fully specced interior, the appeal of the skoda is that it looks the same as a base model but can be remapped to match the VRS, and is still cheap to insure. It is £500 less to insure to begin with. I have alot of nice cars opened up to me if I pay around £1200 a year, what the Cupra would cost to insure, the 180hp 1.8t has alot of rivals to compete with. At this price point the 150hp 1.8t has no rivals in my mind, or none with the same easy tunability. Liquid Knight said:
