I did a mental count up on my commute today and reckoned that the number of threadists with Pork derivatives is at least 12. Frankly, I feel aggrieved and left out.

I won't go and look but one assumes that the 914 has gone from "can't give them away" to "stupid" along with all other Porsches.

If it's straight it won't be around for long.

Fook!

Please pardon the expletive, but I cannot help myself.

If straight - an absolute steal of a car! Still looks good and dare I say it - on the horrible roads in the UK it drives better than it’s more focused coupe brother...

Wowow, still trying to get over the price...

A tempter, for sure.

I've been looking at E46 M, 996 3.4 and 987 2.9 and the E85 M looks good value.

Popped to Brooklands this morning for their classic breakfast meet. Some nice stuff there including a Peugeot 404 Coupe. I never knew they made one, pretty thing too!

I know nowt about 356 prices but £56K for this little jewel - with a claimed £45K spent on it - doesn't seem like a bad investment to me.

L100NYY,

Thanks for posting. WHAT an auction that looks like, so much cool metal! When is the next auction similar to that? Those cars were so cool, that's a cheap day out going to see them driving through*

Stu

. * Cheap, except I'd now own an 840i, Austin Healey a rolls, and this. Definitely this. How come these are so cheap?

Really tempted to go hunting for one, it's epic!

You too Chris, thanks for coming biggrin

I'll post some photos up this evening if anyone is interested, there were some lovely cars at Brooklands yesterday. I tried to get to the auction on Saturday, but sadly got roped in to building a hammock for my mother instead banghead

Auction was not that great if I can judge the results... Quite a few unsold lots and plenty of others sold below or just above the minimum estimate...

I think the parisians would miss it.
Two Bitters in one auction! One will do fine thank you.

I'll have the 500E (Jap import - not stated anywhere that I can see on the auction site) to put in the barn and also the Baja Bug please.
I used to have one of those, just a lot, lot smaller.

And if anyone is selling a barn...

I spotted the Bitters, always had a soft spot for those. These take my fancy

26,000 mile Golf is nice

LS1 motor and manual box XJ-C would be a giggle too. Make a good twin test for Harry Metcalfe and his V12 manual one!
