E 1

On a shiny new Porsche Taycan this morning driving past the Natural history museum.

Possibly tops K 1 as the most valuable number plate I have spotted.

Not on the single single site, I saw this pic on another site this week, it shows up on the insurance database but currently not on the DVLA checkers so might be fake, I'm not sure

AT 3 on a Qumquat the other day. I think it was 3, can’t remember exactly but it was on some silver Nissan crossover thing anyway. Certainly a 2x1 and the correct way round anyway.

It's the Goodwood Festival of speed this weekend. There are a few numbers going under the hammer in the Bonhams auction there on Friday:

PFC 37
Guide price £2.5 - £3.5k

14 JP
Guide price £12k - £15k

72 K
Guide price £32k - £38k

1 UFC
Guide price £40k - £50k

1 HOT
Guide price £45k - £55k

W 18
Guide price £40k - £60k

ROS 1
Guide price £60k - £80k

S 23
Guide price £160k - £180k
Quite remarkable disparity between W18 and S23 in that list - W names aren't that uncommon, for example!

Are they original issues, being 'the right way round'?
Same with 72 K, all three will be original issues, I think they've over egged it on the 'S' reg and under egged it on the 'W' and 'K' regs based on what I've seen in the market, but the single letter 'S' Regs do seem to go for more then other letters on the plate sites.
Following on from my post a few pages back these are the results of the Bonhams auction. All prices include premium:

14 JP £12,075

72 K £40,825

1 HOT £65,550

W 18 £46,000

ROS 1 £74,750

The price wasn't listed for PFC 37, 1 UFC and S 23. So I presume these remain unsold.

Given these include the premium these prices are far lower than I would have expected. Market cooling?
