What does thinking that Zero and O look the same reveal about someone?
It reveals they're an impetuous and shallow person. Somebody whose only interested in the immediate surface appearance of what things look like rather than the far more important depth of what things really are or what they really mean.
Old man shouts at clouds springs to mind.

Such a keyboard warrior.
Do you chastise these people to their faces?
No, thought not.

Thankfully, I escape occasionally.

Must admit, O and 0 do look completely different when used on a number plate. Not sure why this is being contested. I mean, look:
I have this terrible plate on my multi-coloured Golf shed.Judging by some of the pettiness on this thread, you'll all like the background story. My missus' ex husband bought it for her as a wedding present, and when she changed cars, she was going to leave the plate on and lose it, happily.
I decided to pay the retention fee and now he gets to see it proudly displayed on this rustbucket every time he drops off/picks up the boy. A level of petty, apparently, many can get on board with.

I'll keep it until the boy is driving and offer it to him, if he wants it, he can have it.

Do you confront people face-to-face when you encounter something you don't like. Probably not eh, just like the rest of us

I don't get the animosity. If someone wants to look a knob surely that's up to them?
I assume those of you ridiculing some of these plates also think people in shellsuits, or trainspotters, or military re-enactment enthusiasts, or goths etc etc etc are knobs too, but you don't start a thread with pictures of them?
Live and let live FFS.
