They would probably think it was a kit car. Most people (especially women) aren't interested in cars, they would just view anyone with any sort of sporty car as a bit of a knob.
Hmm not sure on that one, I still remember a girl talking about somebody with a Porsche. "He took me out in is Porsche" "Porsche this, Porsche that, Porsche" It seemed to have the desired effect on her anyway... I think rather then viewing you as a knob they actually just see £££.
Have an old porsche with no roof and is cheaper than a fiat 500.

Can confirm the above is correct
Yep exactly, a man in anything sporty is view by many as being a knob. Some people also love a badge and think that means money, but they will view you as a knob as well.

Yep, that's why I didn't say all.

No details on it but does look good

Used to have a lightly modded Subaru Forester turbo, can only imagine this is like that turned up to 20

Really like these, they just look so menacing, not slow standard but that should shift

Its is cool... is the bottom picture just the render for the project above it? - sorry if I'm stating the obvious there.

Looking at them both I'd say bottom was concept (though I HOPE it's real) top is partway through the project...

A bit of "dream meets reality" as both real cars are not "split" but "bay" windows,

still expensive, still a nice and unusual project.

It seems utterly pointless to me, surely the rig and trailer set up offers no more space than a single van on its own?

I was just thinking that, you don't seem to gain much space!

Its not a total pass, but what I don't like is fixable (the trike on the roof). It's a BMW 2002 with a two tone paint job and a Honda S2000 engine. It should be terrible and a horrible thing to do to a 2002, but Iike it (trike excepted).

And no I didn't know Fast Car was still a thing either.
I think there are a few 02's running the Honda engine now. Personally I've just never been a fan of using engines from other manufacturers but that's just me. I'm definitely a fan of high revving, normally aspirated 4 bangers though. If I'd had the cash I would have dropped an S14/2.5 into my own although the M44/1.9 should still make for a fun time. Especially with ITB's and standalone management replacing the OE set-up. I'm hoping for 190'ish BHP.

I'm not s fan of 2 tone paint though and that bumper is a bit naff. That said, it'd be boring if they all looked the same. smile

I love the articulated camper though. Just needs a bit more power than stock though I imagine?

Love this although the wheels are a bit too bling for me. I'd prefer some wide steels or Minilites.
