MIght be off. I cannot get an insurance quote for under £930!
In that case I'll help out and top the previous offer, I'm sure £1550 would be a fair price for a car which has such hefty insurance premiums Though this one's extremely tempting

Arguably a barge in auto Pina guise. Arguably not a bargain if the 'box could let go soon but still cheap!
Question is whether the box oil is maintenance advise or to fix a known problem, my gut feel says the later otherwise why mention it. Arguably a barge in auto Pina guise. Arguably not a bargain if the 'box could let go soon but still cheap!
What we all want to know is how good is CD's new 740i?

They're not exactly rare so plenty about. just waiting until i finish uni to decide what i want to do.
It's about right, I'll of spent over £1000 on it so it's near up to scratch, therefore time to let someone else enjoy my hard earned.
Mine will be back at Ultimate7 from the 25th. Advert live to stimulate interest...
edit - which alas does not work due to spaces in the URL... It's T815.

Not to sound rude, but what are you hoping to gain by trading to a similar-spec 740i? Is there really that much of a saving to make it worth it?http://www.ultimate7.co.uk/T815%20HRV/T815%20HRV.h...

On a separate topic did anyone see the E38 feature in this months Total BMW? Bit concerned about the suggestion that a reasonable E38 750il can be had for £800!

Based on the mileage I've done in 740s....yes, there's enough of a saving.Still something so very appealing about a 12 pot though.

Cloth and wheel trims. Oddly appealing.
Very appealing at that money, only an urban gallon away from me too. I think that it could be too thirsty to be a daily and it wouldn't do what my current pair do so well (be a stuff carrying shed that I can't kill and an amusing but cheap to run snotter) so would need to be a third car or I'd have to replace something.
I'll see how long it hangs around
It's definitely happening.

Like all BMWs, as time goes on, the early non-sport cars start looking better than their younger siblings.
The E39 has come of age.
