Presumably that chubster James Stunt has bought yet another plate for his collection.
I think you're right. Form for miss-spacing too.

Spotted this evening just outside Norwich. I thought it was crappy until it dawned on me the 888 relevance to Subaru, then it became a little bit cool.

Reminds me - there used to be a white van running around London with NO 5 plate. Belonged to Chanel smile

It was. Possibly getting confused about 8 being the luckiest number?

Interesting one - I spotted this new RRS SVR parked illegally in York this aft. The reg was perfect - 5VR. However, after doing both a rev check, and DVLA tax check, it comes back as on a 2013 A3 diesel?

You're right, it was 555. I guessed the wrong digits in the right order though smile

It could have been recently transferred and systems not yet updated on line. The A3 owner probably realised the value in the plate when the SVR was launched too!

Reminds me of a friend of a friend who as a young teenager, was given an old mini van to play in (this would have been in the early 80's) plate was 190E

Correct thread. Perfect example of a plate that looks much better 'mis-spaced'. So many plates can be made to look so much better by a tiny mod such as removing the (or adding a..) space. NPR cameras will have no problem with this and it's only a minor infringement of a petty 'law' anyway. 10/10.

There are only two 8s on that plate.
