I think I might have overdone it a little Just bought 12 48W led panels for the roof of the 50m2 room hehe

I don't want to have to use a worklight.
If it makes you feel better, I have 12 of the same lights in my 16.8m2 garage...

In my build we have plastered walls and ceilings. I just need to sort out the floor and I've been wavering for the last few weeks.

There is a 10mm gap between plasterboard and floor. The area is about 50m2.

One minute I want a resin floor but worried that it is only 4mm thick. Surely that won't survive a floor jack of any sort
Then there is the MMA which is a bit stronger but also twice the price and no thicker
Then there are floor tiles which I'm worried about because although they are 8mm thick and therefore will give a nice clean edge to teh room , I think the edges and connectors will always get bits of swarf and oil from the mill and lathe stuck between and won't be easy to clean
Not enough depth for screed

Also must have emailed/left messages for about ten different companies in Kent/SE in the last two weeks, with pictures and dimensions and not a single reply.

Decisions decisions. Although they are very nice decisions to have

I have 18 of those panels in a room the same size with another 8 on the walls...

Just half the garage in shot. It’s definitely not too bright.

Any recommendations on the brand and place to buy these panels?

Amazing how many hours you have to put in when you're also learning how to do it all. Walls and ceiling are now painted, now going to wait for it to warm up a bit so that I can do a new layer of screed on the floor, then epoxy it.

Will you be covering the walls with framed photos?

It's always difficult knowing where to get decent photos from, though.

Someone put a link up to WallSauce a while back.
It's not a car specific site, and i don't know if it has tonnes of car stuff, but some of the designs are spectacular.

I have 4 genuine Jaguar framed pictures of the F Type concept in my garage, amongst other things.

Gents, any advice on sockets? Sparky has been booked now to come and fit sockets around the garage. I have been quote for 9 double sockets, at intervals of about 10 feet apart around 3 of the walls. Enough? Garage is 100m2 for reference (fits 5/6 cars at a push).

I’m actually undecided, might just put this one photo of my favourite road trip moment in the Exige:

Looks a bit too like a playstation image for my taste. But I love the car and the colour.

I'm impressed that people have space for pictures. All my walls rammed with shelves, bikes, storage etc. I have a small ish "tasteful" picture from the 80's and that is going to have to go soon to make room for a bike rack and a work mate that are being relocated from another part of the garage due to another workbench being installed.

That looks fantastic. What flooring did you use? Have you got a before and after picture?

Just used heavy duty carpet tiles on the floor, glued the outside ones and left the middles loose so if they get damaged i can swop them.
Spilt some paint on a couple, jetwashed them and you wouldnt know now!
