The Discovery interior is by Conran and was pretty influential.
Not the design… the materials and colours.

Taylor from YouTube AutoAlex is selling his e39 540 manual

Taylor is a threadist at heart, his taste in cars is excellent (Also would fit in well in the barge thread).

However.. £15k.. blimey..
Especially considering he paid £1.5k for it, although spent a lot restoring it.

Also needs to change his video title…..

I had just read that.

Whenever I see or hear his name, I think of this:

Should really send Mrs FB a link to the Spyker as she's bugging me as I don't know what I want for my birthday
The Alpina is lovely but I always have a giggle at the almost Heath-Robinson rear diff cooling laugh

That's rather nice innit. My 944 had the same steering wheel and it was about the nicest to use wheel I have ever held, just right.
Atiwe Formel steering wheel - made in Italy for German firm Atiwe - used to get them in 80s Fords as an option from the accessory catalog too

1. So glad I’m not the only one with a weird secret Spyker man crush. Always thought they looked suitably weirdly tres cool. Never really understand why so many don’t like them.

2. MG. Legendary figure, life very well lived and a properly classy gent. He enriched our lives smile

The proportions are strange, and even if you like them, I don’t think anyone could say they are anything other than terrible hood up… plus there’s the interior, and the steering wheel in particular… it’s Liberace on cocaine laugh

Still, someone is insane enough to bid £120k for it and there 3 days still to go… what do I know laugh

The pond man turned up in this this morning.

Thought some of you might find it a teeny bit interesting.

Not too sure about that one, but there was an Artz C2 200 estate with Ur Quattro power- and drive-train

I think it was called a “Kombi” as a C2 Avant was a hatch not an estate
