Hi there,
Not in the true spirit of the thread as I guess attending an event called Supercar Fest you kind of know what you are going to get. Thought my pics would still be of interest to you guys though:-

Grey F40 looks awful. At first look I was hoping it was just a poorly-executed kit car, but it appears to be the real thing. Not in the true spirit of the thread as I guess attending an event called Supercar Fest you kind of know what you are going to get. I can't imagine there being too many options in the Demon Tweeks catalog for Veyron wheels, but...
Lastly, of them all its still the Carrera GT for me. (Though that black Ford GT has surprised me somewhat).

Two cars REALLY out of place there.
The Yaris.
The BM with a face like a beaver with a bad tooth abcess.
Other than that.
Some amazing machinery!

Many thanks, only added them as in both cases its the first time I have seen the cars in the flesh.
Kind of wish I could un see the BMW now :-)

I don't visit car shows, and some of the pictures there illustrate one of the reasons why. Row upon row of the same car.
It must be a pisser when you spend umpteen thousand pounds to personalise your Ferrari and then find so many other people who did exactly the same thing with theirs.

It is a bit surprising just how many Pistas there are out and about, it was the last 'hard to get', 'special customer', 'be thankful we're selling you one' Ferrari but there just seems to be hundreds of the things, been to one event where they were the most common Ferrari there.
Pista seems to be the most common Ferrari at the moment. Nearly as common as Porsche's and AstonsDoofus said:

To be fair pretty much every car was unique. Even in the 20 or so Pista's on display each one was different. Some of the specs were I admit similar but still different.
One of the things I enjoy at an event like this is seeing the same car in loads of different specs.

One of the reasons I like classic car events...you see genuine rarity and properly special metal, rather than just the latest property of those people who just HAVE to show-off this season's must-have junior supercar...

I'm not sure I'd describe a 488 Pista as a junior supercar and if show offs show off to each other, what's the issue? (I'm sure there's a profound philosophical theory in there somewhere).
Ahh, it's got a V8 not a V12...that makes it 'junior' surely! As for a 'show-off-off' between monied supercar owners - I now have visions of bull elephant seals butting against each other and stags rutting...
