All the people that sit behind buses stopped at bus stops (not the bus stops that are indented from the road) where they're easily passed.

This evening I came up behind 6 cars sat behind a bus loading passengers. Nothing coming towards me on the opposite carriageway, waited a while for people to overtake and nobody moved so I indicated right and overtook 6 cars and 1 bus.

I'm probably the knob though for not being patient or waiting behind but why people won't bother to move is beyond me...
When recently in the USA if a bus was stopped letting off or taking on passengers both sides of the traffic had to stop and not pass the bus. Found it strange but thinking about it people/children getting off or onto a buss are likely to cross the road whilst its stopped and from a safety pov I thought it was a good idea seeing it in action.

I think overtaking 6 cars and a stationary bus may have been too much of a risk for me as I would imagin the view lines and visibility of people crossing in front of the bus was high plus people would not have expected a car to be on the "wrong" side if they were crossing infront of the bus and hence may not have looked that way at all.

I think traffic should pass the bus carefully, looking for possible kids running out.
If the car in front doesn't do that for whatever reason, you should wait IMHO.

A couple from yesterday.
The inlaws neighbour has a new 1 series bmw. Its a poverty spec 116 and i mean poverty spec. He spent most of yesterday sticking M series badges on as many surfaces as possible.
Later i popped down to Morrisons to fill up the other half's car.
Everyone was waiting in turn to fill up.
The a cock in a 16 plate audi turns up and lives up to the stereo type by driving straight past everyone and jumping the queue.

The taxi-driving blockage who was in front of me as I left Truro for work this morning; stopping at every roundabout - even when entirely clear as well as driving in an exaggeratedly safe (and slow) fashion. At first I was unsure as to precisely why this extension was driving in such a preposterously cautious and time wasting fashion when it occurred to me - he had a passenger on board.

Agree with this - I have no problem overtaking 6 cars plus the bus if done at an appropriate speed and with decent sight lines.

It was all done at around 8-10 mph. I was more worried about cars pulling out to overtake without looking.

If there was a pump free why had no one else gone to it?

Possibly all in the "I MUST use the pump on my filler cap side" gang.

Well, sometimes it won't reach the other side, regardless of what they claim about their "long reach" hoses, and maybe people don't want a manky fuel hose rubbing over their bodywork.

I bet some people love a mucky hose rubbing on their bodywork smile

By the way, it's all about the positioning (to make the hose reach with no contact)

I had this yesterday at a Tesco In nw London,
Big queues 3-4 cars waiting except at the far side of the pay at pumps, the other side of these had empty blocks on.

I wasn't sure what everyone was doing waiting so just slowly drove up and the filled up, thinking it'd be just the Tesco 99 wasn't empty.
But they were all fine people seem to love a queue.

Reminds of me a shell garage in woking, some strange looking guy sat there in a completely shagged merc "amg" reading his phone. Wouldn't move! Went in to the service station, came back out and proceeded to sit in his car. Mr overfinch range rover was less than impressed.

Anyone who beeps their horn at someone who has done something wrong instead of taking preventive measures.
See this too often.
Someone coming into the lane ahead of them at is too close but instead of easing back and letting it be they'll speed up and beep the horn at someone.
It's like people drive around with one hand on the horn.

I agree entirely. People get very angry in cars.

Hmmm. If someone pulls out in right in front of me causing me to brake hard, they'll get a beep from me.
(I'd expect the same if I did it, and try to be more careful next time).

Obviously, if you are tooting at people every 5 minutes, then I agree, the problem is with the beeper not the beepee.
