The tit in the camera car in the first clip is a classic example of why dash cams should be banned. Clearly, the Galaxy shouldn’t have come into his lane, but he could have easily backed off and prevented a collision.
100% cam car
galaxy = normal driving on laned roundabouts, you are allowed to change lanes and signal your intentions
The cam car effectively drove into the galaxy
HC duty of all road uses to avoid a collision
Don't think this is correct.

If you change lanes like that on a roundabout on your driving test you fail no matter whether you indicate or not.

"If you need to change lane, first use your mirrors and if necessary take a quick sideways glance to make sure you will not force another road user to change course or speed. When it is safe to do so, signal to indicate your intentions to other road users and when clear, move over."

The signal should only happen when no one will need to change course or speed, it's safe and only when you actually intend to change lane. That happens less and less though as it's mostly become:
"I want to change lane please let me out." or "I am coming so make the best of it".
That's all well and good, but it can lead to things like this. DCW should have avoided it but that wouldn't be show business. Hopefully they won't get away unscathed.

Exactly. Hopefully DCW will receive a summons for causing a totally avoidable accident.

It’s such weird behaviour. It’s going to cost time and cause inconvenience to get the car fixed so why not just avoid the accident and save yourself the bother? fking morons these DCW’s.

Yet another compilation of people not willing to give an inch because they’re in a car. If someone is indicating and it won’t cause any significant inconvenience let them out for Christ’s sake. Are these the sort of people who let a door slam in someone’s face rather than hold it open for the sake of a couple of seconds?

UK Dash Cameras - Compilation 30 - 2019 Bad Drivers, Crashes + Close Calls.

Good job the tt 'dnewby' at 9:40 didn't meet me coming the other way - I have no truck with morons who don't know the highway code and incorrectly think they have the right of way.

The oncoming car probably should have pulled into the gap especially with central hazard lines. Rule 163 does seem to favour the DCW. Once it didn't it became a pointless moment like a lot of these.

I think the guy's a troll surely? Those videos and tweets can't be for real.
He either has mental health issues, or is the most elaborate troll I’ve ever seen. Still can’t decide which..
The former I think, with severe anger issues too. And not to be discriminatory, having mental issues shouldn't stop you living your life, but he's not fit to be on the road judging by the stuff he posts online.

I'm more saddened that people's reaction these days is increasingly to "report" everything that they don't like. The first two cars weren't even going particularly fast from what little could be seen and I doubt they were much above the (presumably) NSL, if at all. Makes a change to see cars actually making decent progress on a NSL rather than the usual 35-40mph that seems to have become the norm these days.
the couple in the car posted in the comments section, it seems like a back pedal to me:

They race locally you idiot, regularly racing in built up areas where children play and continously race on bends like this one.

We were advised to report them, hence the report and name of the road etc to back it up that they do race. Same car, same reg etc.

Ahahaha lot of law and road experts commenting about it makes me laugh.

I find it hard to believe that open countryside is a 30mph zone as per the title. The '30' limit signs at 0:38 could be repeaters but I think they've just come out of a NSL. If it was already a 30 zone then I'd have expected there to have been a '30' painting on the opposite side of the road, adjacent to the one on their side. Basically they're a couple of drama queens and need to get a life.

The oncoming car overtaking the parked cars had already pulled out before the DCW came into view, so the DCW should have slowed down and let them pass even before they reached the red car. But being a DCW they decided to be a and create an incident to film.

Agree they should have slowed down but the DCW was well in view long before then and there was plenty of time and space for the oncoming car to pull in.

The oncoming car had already moved over to overtake before the DCW came into view, so it was the DCW who should have slowed down and let them through. That was clear as they had to reverse back into the space, whereas the DCW could have just eased of before the red car and the issue would not have been there. But then no footage for the DCW .
