Agree they should have slowed down but the DCW was well in view long before then and there was plenty of time and space for the oncoming car to pull in.
"give way to oncoming vehicles before passing parked vehicles or other obstructions on your side of the road"
The oncoming car had already moved over to overtake before the DCW came into view, so it was the DCW who should have slowed down and let them through. That was clear as they had to reverse back into the space, whereas the DCW could have just eased of before the red car and the issue would not have been there. But then no footage for the DCW .
We agree they could and the best thing was to slow down. But give way before passing means that no other car should have to slow down or alter course. The oncoming car should have given way they had sufficient view, room and time.

We can argue the official line all day long but the simple fact of the matter is the DCW was delayed more waiting for the other car to reverse out of the way so he could proceed than if he'd just eased off and let the other car complete the overtake. But as others have noted above, it's more important for DCWs to deliberately create conflict so they can upload their fury and outrage to the internet/police 'report a dangerous driver' websites because they have nothing more interesting going on in their sad little lives.

Agreed.
It probably comes under courtesy to other road users (after you dear boy, no after you, doffs cap)
You get a similar thing happen with those priority chicanes
Someone's half way through on the wrong side of the road when someone coming the other way decides to block them because 'they have priority'
and wait half an hour while they try to argue about it or force them to go backwards into a space already filled by another car

Nice find! So they're full of st about it being a 30 zone then. Someone should point this out to them in the comments to shut them up although I expect they're the type to instantly delete any comments they don't like. rolleyes
done.

on the exposed video they are having a right argument with people in the comments!

The Bald Eagle

@Ian Johnson Oh aye they never killed me, so it's absolutely fine to race on a bend and if you don't kill anyone, then it's fine. Damn boi you're dumb
@mortisdiei Honestly they drive ridiculously going down the wrong side of roads around the area. They will literally kill someone
@Jamie G You're such an expert in law, have you forgotten that a bend is a hazard? So driving like that clearly is illegal because it's on a bend, which is a hazard. I think the video doesn't lie and if anything, it is careless driving borderline dangerous driving.

Regardless, doesn't mean you drive like a complete spastic and go way above 60.

Double checked, definitely is 30mph.
Looks like someone is going to have some back-pedaling to do. jester

What happens when two dash cam pollocks infringe each other on the road? Is there some kind of divine moment of perfect bellendery?

To be fair the camera car appeared to have plenty of room to get past but I wasn't expecting that laugh

wow so the 'bald eagle' DCW isn't a driver - he's a passenger who's bought a dashcam to take with him when he's a passenger in his mums car? and then report people ?

that's a whole new level of bawbagery for a DCW
