What happens when 2 idiots meet on the M1

Prepare for the most fantastic pair of idiots sparring for position on the M1, finally culminating in a sheer orgasm of crumpled metal, minimal collateral damage, a big queue on the M1 and 2 driving bans.
We share the roads with these people. And they can vote. And have children.

What a pair of bellends. Cam car refuses to move over then speeds up to block undertaker both deserved what happened. Lane discipline on that motorway was awful look how much lane 1/2/3 are empty for in that clip.

For me, however much the Swift driver is a tool, cam car driver is worse - why not just let the other guy go?

But thanks to the collision pictured, they can't drive for a year. Should be 10...

I can see the initial frustration from the swift - the cam car pulls onto the motorway and straight into the outside lane, and sits there regardless of whether anyone wants to get past.

Once the cam car starts swerving around though I'd just drop back and leave him to it.

Absolutely boils my piss that. Even in the middle of the night I find muppets in the middle or RHL with little or no other traffic around.

Need shooting.

Seems that the bottom of the M1 is particularly bad in my experience. People just do not move over, they come onto the M'way and pull into the middle lane and then stay there come hell or high water. fking idiots.

That M1 video makes me wish for life time bans, or at least very long bans and making it very difficult to get your license back.

How much money is spent widening motorways when so much of the space available is lost because of these morons?

So who is likely to get the overall blame for the accident. I know they are both to blame for their stupidity.

In a court both drivers would be on the hook for shocking driving, but an insurance company would surely only be interested in the actual accident cause. Earlier incidents are largely irrelevant I would have thought are they not?
Would the camera car be to blame as they decided to undertake at the at moment, or Swift for not checking mirrors before moving lanes potentially(I know he knew he was there)

At a guess 50/50, though they might go for the cam car as he pretty much drove the other car into the barrier as he tried to move into lane 4.

I would image, 50/50, knock for knock.

As it should be.

He also seems to think by slowing down and speeding up, that he is safe from average speed camera.

-- edit --

A quick look at some of his other videos shows a general lack of situational awareness combined with aggressive over reactions to the slightest slights.

I would have thought a careless driving charge by the camera car when the police arrived.

The 4 lane section of the M1 between Luton and the M25 is notorious for poor lane discipline. When it's fairly busy like in the video I tend to keep left and cruise at 65-70, and find myself making just as much progress as the muppets tailgating in lane 4.

There was more than enough evidence to have the Suzuki driver done..... Then he caused a crash. Dumb, should have stayed well away from the Suzuki.

Why post the video??

I'd have deleted the memory card, stamped on it, burnt it, eaten it and then posted the resulting matter through the post marked Fragile!

At a guess because he's a clown who thought he was in the right and is hard done by, as evidenced by his "woe is me" comment about being banned for a year.

I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the box, he's also got a video of himself doing 140mph on a UK motorway.
