The "writer" of that article couldn't have got many more basic engine-related facts wrong if he tried...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_Meteor
"engine from a British Spitfire fighter plane"
"24-cylinder"
The car's a cracker though!

Did he ever get the gearbox sorted out properly?
I wonder if he still has to remove the windscreen for the MoT test.

They still never finish anything, and it's starting to wear thin on me too. He did sort the gearbox, then took the engine out to add turbos, that didn't go well (can't remember why), so he's now supercharging it. At least, he was in the last update. Can't comment on the windscreen, is it because if it has a windscreen, it must have wipers?
Yep, if it has a windscreen it has to have wipers, for an IVA it has to have washer as well if screen fitted, obviously no room in it for that!Krikkit said:

You know I will probably get lynched for this, but these restomods are leaving me a bit cold now. They are literally everywhere, on every car show. They are having to go further and further to make an impression (such as some of Dave Kingdigs work). I'm a massive fan of the less is more school (look at my modified Sagaris for example), but I'm seeing market saturation on this now. Don1 said:

I agree. Totally original or very mildly modded is more special than these things now.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
