If it is truly awful and will never get back on a road it can be parted out for more than I've paid so worth a shot I reckon.
So... bought unseen? If it's reasonable mechanically and not too rotten are you just going to tidy it up, get it legal and run it - or are you planning a full restoration.
Weddings'R'US?
Or, you could rat-rod it - matt black all the brightwork, paint it desert sand camo, lower it and make it unique.
What attracted you to the idea of a Rolls?
If its not too rotten my plan *may* be along the lines of rat-rod. Fairly open to suggestions other than restoring it as thats not really making it my own. The idea posted earlier of fitting a LS sounds very appealing but due to the brakes and suspension being run off the engine its not as easy. Then again if its to be lowered that would be air suspension anyway.

Simply I like being different to everyone my age. Since passing my test 4 years my most normal young lad car has been my first with a 1.8 diesel focus.Since then ive had a 83 cherry turbo, 84 e30 323i, 87 defender 90 van, 95 730i and 2x Range Rover l322's.

Shane Lynch's drift RR is also on air ride suspension. Purely built to show off/for a TV show I think.
Yeh the show was something to do with Kahn. But to lower this car you need air suspension as its all connected via hydraulics to the brakes too. Theres no real other way without maybe welding brackets for coilovers? Not got a huge idea as I havent even seen the car!
