I have a strange perversion for these:

I like them too, but wouldn't pay 10 grand for one.

Some retro loveliness.

Cuteness at top of budget.

LHD, but worth 8 grand for the colours alone.

And finally a yummy affordable classic. A bag of Werthers and a flat cap of a car. Delightful.

This is lovely. Lifted from the RRC thread.

This one seems worth requiring about given the price:

Seems to be about half the price of comparable cars at the moment.

Erm. Another old Benz. Slightly more than a haggle over thread budget. But I like it.

I would definitely *cough* have bought that but as I was unable to check the MOT history on the Gov site I bailed!

Beautiful car.

Must resist urge. Surely this is the cheapest way to 200mph?
Why would you even want a road-legal car to do that?

Not cheap, but nice very condition and looks a hoot. Within a haggle of budget.

That is fabulous, with a proper interior.

The values of 107s are getting crazy, and the SLC seems to be finding some well-deserved love. This one seems very good VFM to me. I'd go and see it if I wasn't the other side of the country.

Close, but no cigar.

The car that shape that I want is the Jensen Interceptor.

7 litre V8, 7mpg, ferocious ability to dissolve before your very eyes.

My neighbour had one when I was a kid. One of my childhood dream cars.
I got overtaken by one when I was 17 in my 950 fiesta Mk2. Well I say overtaken, it just about blew the fiesta off the road!
That was 22 years ago and I've wanted an Interceptor ever since.
I agree with both of you, but they're not 5-10k are they?

More's the pity.

Not bad for a wet January. The era of these being throw-away cars ended some time ago.
You're spot-on.

I'm keen on having an SLC next, but the SEC would have to go to make room for it. Decisions, decisions ...

I have found a place I think i will use to fabricate a new exhaust to replicate the OEM sound for my 500SL.
Why not take it back to the place that ASBO'd it for you and get them to show-again?

Better colours on your car but I wouldn't buy it. Not necessarily because of the price, although it's toppy to say the least, but because of the crap, irritating advert and the stupid watermarked photos. Without meeting the vendor, I know he's an irritating tt.
