Did a launch to 70 against a 16v astra gte mk2 and actually pulled on it a bit. It never ran right after that.
Shame, mine was actually surprisingly "bombproof",did mega mileage too.

The Legacy generally gets positive attention but only by people occasionally asking what it is, otherwise it is invisible. I haven't had the TVR long enough to gauge a response.

BM 116i ES exec sport. Gets a lot of respect especially as i'm only in early 20s so quite young to have a new BM. Maybe not as good as an M3, but I couldn't insure that.

Must be the the "exec sport" bit, if it was just the BM 116i ES no one would notice it.

Just noticed your name in your profile, explains a lot really

Lots of smiles & questions about the CRZ, I've had people wander up to it to have their photo taken - which was nice.

I wonder if colour plays a large part?

I used to have a red Civic Type-R and Triumph Daytona and regularly got tts trying to race/imtimidate me - no fk off! rolleyes Lots of positive comments about the Daytona though.

Now I've got a black Triumph Street Triple (pretty much the same as a Daytona) and grey MR2 mk3, and get no where near the same level of negative attention.

Still prefer red cars/bikes though... frown

I badged my old Golf VR6 up as a 1.6 GL so bar the exhaust note, no one ever bothered, when it was clean - being bright red and a burbly exhaust note - it attracted some inquisitive stares.

The Ibiza Cupra is a totally different animal, dump valve, big brembo brakes visible and big intercooler on show, seems to mean I want to race every single Scooby/Evo/M3/RS4 going... not really but hey ho.

I do like being in my Polo SDi which no one even bats an eyelid at!

This quote from the garage page is a bit bizarre:

"Update. Can't say how much I love driving a BM, really marks you out in the traffic."

confused Strange, saying as BMW are everywhere these days!

Within 5 minutes on my first drive I noticed this. Like driving in a fishbowl. I knew then I could never live with this car.
Gets annoying on the motorway as i cant pick my nose to pass the time. Someones always watching/taking pictures/videoing me
Try something with an aeroscreen... even had one chap furiously unwrapping a disposable camera in order to grab a pic at the lights. I can live with that though. It's the lads with their modded mk3/4 Golfs who always seem determined to race that get tiresome. Some of them get really quite shirty when you don't want to play.
