In other words the data that each insurer uses is skewed. It's great that this enables you to shop around and get the lowest price, but when you take out a policy how do you know if that same skewed data set isn't going to ream you if you make a non-fault claim?

How do you suggest would be a better way to estimate expected losses and thus set a premium?
