What made you buy the car(s) you own?

2000 Honda Accord.
I needed to replace my accident damaged 318ti with a more family friendly car, the Accord is known for being incredibly reliable.
I originally wanted the sport version but with the monies I had available the only option was for 150k+ miles, then I spotted a 2 litre SE Auto with only 59k guaranteed miles with complete history to back it up, went to look at it, was exactly what I needed so bought it after a test drive. Fairly well specced, tiptronic, vtec goodness. Yeah I do crave something more sporty but it is a fantastic hack and apart from being fairly thirsty it is an epic workhorse.
